There has been a great deal of talk in the last year about how hard our economy has been hit by foreclosures, bankruptcies and job loss. However, there is no denying the fact that families still need housing! Whether they have to Rent, Rent-to-Own (Lease Option), or buy on a Land-Contract. It is worth noting that Rent-to-Own and Land-Contracts are becoming more popular. The fact is that our families always need a place to live! It is deep basic drive in most of us to feel as if we own a piece of the American Dream.
We hear it everyday on the TV, radio, internet blogs, chat rooms, etc. how the economy is in a spiraling tailspin. While this may seem true there have been a great number of new opportunities for investors and tenant buyers that we have not seen since the 80’s! Times like these force bad investors out of the market and makes the good investors stronger, setting them up for success when times turn good again.
